The Annual RAS Paper Session provides a forum for Academy members, the collegiate community, and others engaged in scientific research to present the results of their investigations in an atmosphere that promotes discussion and interaction. Any interested may attend.
8-10AM All attendees sign in. Beverages & pastries for all.
9-11AM Oral Presentations (5 rooms, 6 sessions each)
11AM-12PM. Poster Session A
12-1PM Lunch – on-campus food stands or bring your own.
1-2PM Welcome & Larry King Memorial Lecture. Gosnell 1250.
2-3PM Poster Session B
Feature Speakers: Dr. Roger Easton, Jr and Dr. Jeyhan Kartaltep (of RIT); Topic: “Astronomical Images – the Oldest and the Newest”
ASRAS will staff a table during this event. Come enjoy the paper session, talks, represent ASRAS at our table, AND/OR volunteer with RAS (setup, teardown, possibly moderator roles).
