Members and non-members alike are welcome to come to the Marian and Max Farash Center for Observational Astronomy, where you can meet some of our members and take a look at our educational and telescope facilities. During this time members will also be working on site maintenance and improvements.

ASRAS Annual Holiday Party Extravaganza at RMSC Strasenburgh Planetarium! Please bring an Appetizer, Dessert or Beverage to pass! 5:30–6:30 PM set up tables/chairs/food/beverages. (Help setup early if you can) 6:30–7:30 PM Reception in lobby (bring appetizer, dessert, snack, or beverage to share) 7:30–8:00 PM ASRAS December meeting in Star Theater
Come out and see our facility’s layout when it’s light, and see some of the equipment we have for member’s use. Sledding if there is snow? Work party if the weather is nice?

More details to be added once available from RMSC. If it is like 2024, these events were 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday and Sunday, and ASRAS staffed a table with an activity for school age children and their family on one or more days.
