Supernova 2003id in NGC 895

sn03id_i.gif Another LOTOSS discovery.   This one is a fairly bright peculiar type Ic in a nice face on spiral galaxy.   Note that NGC 894 is the northwestern arm of NGC 895.  We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the LOTOSS discovery image.  This supernova is in the Constellation Cetus.
