Supernova 2000de in NGC 4384

sn00de_i.jpg Marco Migliardi of CROSS discovered this one. He first sent it out as a "possible" to the ISN group on August 12.8. It was confirmed and sent into CBAT on August 14.3. However, the circular didn't come out on this one until August 18.6. Note that this was most likely because this SN is imbedded in an HII region in NGC 4384. We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal. Icon created from the color CROSS confirmation image.
