Supernova 2017eaw in NGC 6946

image Discovered by Patrick Wiggins (USA).   This one is Type IIP.   NGC 6946 is also known as the fireworks galaxy.   This is our most prolific galaxy with now 10 confirmed supernovae discovered.   We have a Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.   This supernova right on the boarder between the Constellations Cygnus and Cepheus.
