DESCRIPTION:RAS Paper Session at RIT\, in Thomas Gosnell Hall (College of Science) 8:00 am to 3 pm. \nSee https://rasny.org/paper-session to register (FREE) and for additional details. \nThe Annual RAS Paper Session provides a forum for Academy members\, the collegiate community\, and others engaged in scientific research to present the results of their investigations in an atmosphere that promotes discussion and interaction.  Any interested may attend. \n8-10AM All attendees sign in. Beverages & pastries for all.\n9-11AM Oral Presentations (5 rooms\, 6 sessions each)\n11AM-12PM. Poster Session A\n12-1PM Lunch – on-campus food stands or bring your own.\n1-2PM Welcome & Larry King Memorial Lecture. Gosnell 1250.\n2-3PM Poster Session B \nFeature Speakers: Dr. Roger Easton\, Jr and Dr. Jeyhan Kartaltep (of RIT); Topic: “Astronomical Images – the Oldest and the Newest” \nASRAS will staff a table during this event. Come enjoy the paper session\, talks\, represent ASRAS at our table\, AND/OR volunteer with RAS (setup\, teardown\, possibly moderator roles). \nParking is free (4-5 min walk from Lot F)
