Supernova 2009ao in NGC 2939

image Discovered by CHASE (Chili) ; and Tim Puckett, T. Orff and M. Marcus (USA).   This is a type IIP supernova.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the CHASE discovery image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Leo.
