Supernova 2008S in NGC 6946

image Discovered by Ron Arbour (UK).   This type IIn supernova is the 9th discovery is this galaxy.   The two most recent (which I have images for) are 2002hh and 2004et.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the discovery image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Cepheus.
