Supernova 2007gi in NGC 4036

sn07gi_i.jpg Discovered by Koichi Itagaki (Japan).   This is a type Ia found very young.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the discovery image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Ursa Major.
