Supernova 2007af in NGC 5584

sn07af_i.jpg Discovered by Koichi Itagaki (Japan).   The brightest supernova (so far) for 2007.   This one is a type Ia found young.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the discovery image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Virgo.
