Supernova 2006dk in NGC 4161

sn06dk_i.jpg Discovered by M. Migliardi as part of the CROSS program (Italy).   This one is a type II found on the rise.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the discovery image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Fornax.
