If you are a kid who loves science in general and especially astronomy, or who just loves learning and having fun, Young Astronomers is for you! Our activities take place in and around Rochester, including the ASRAS observatory in Ionia, but we will soon have news and activities available on the web. Become a member of ASRAS (either as a student, or as part of your parents or grandparents membership) to receive information via email and the ASRAS newsletter.
Our recent activities have included:
- Fossil hunt in a creek bed
- Observing night at the ASRAS observatory
- Strasenburgh Planetarium lobby activities
- CSI exhibit at RMSC
- Sleepover fun-and-science night at Wolk Observatory
- Mars Mission at the Challenger Center at RMSC
