This was a test image taken with the prototype AT10RC scope. These tests led to improvements which are now incorporated in the production models.
As a show of appreciation for using our club's facilities to test the prototype, Astronomics/Astro-Tech donated a new AT10RC scope to the club. Thanks, Mike!
This scope is now housed in the Farash Obsevatory (Big Dome) and is mounted on the CGE-Pro mount.
The seeing was poor (no surprise in Rochester) but this gives an idea of the FOV @ 2000mm/f8 with an APS-C size chip. (DSLR's)
