Young Astronomers – Join us at the Strasenburgh Planetarium on Friday, November 26th. Come to see “My Planets” at 10AM (3-5 year olds) or “Black Holes” at 1PM (ages 6+) and try your luck at a scavenger hunt right in the Planetarium lobby! There is a charge for both shows (unless you have a family or grandparent membership to RMSC) but we hope to enjoy special rates. Young Astronomers who are members are also asked to take a turn guiding Planetarium visitors through simple astronomy-related activities. Watch email and the ASRAS website for more information, or contact Carol Latta at cosmos@rochester.rr.com if you want more info on our new Young Astronomers program.
