ASRAS Winter Lecture Series at RIT

Location:
RIT: Gosnell Science Bldg; 1st floor room A-300 lecture hall Jefferson Road Rochester, NY14623
Date/Time:
03/12/2010 - 7:30pm - 9:00pm

“The Life Cycle of Stars” by Uwe Unrath, ASRAS member. Here's a great chance to get caught up on how those big clouds of gas assemble themselves into nuclear furnaces, how they evolve over time, and what happens to them as they run out of fuel. An essential part of our understanding of the universe.

Free and open to the public! Why not drop in and listen. These talks are smaller than our regular meetings and informal, so don't be afraid to join us.

Directions:

See the "more info" link.

At RIT, take the outer loop road all the way around the back of the campus to parking lot "U". Park there, walk to the school end of the lot and then left past the bus stop. Gosnell building is the one straight past the bus stop; has a little "control tower" looking structure on top. Go in the first floor door; we're in the first room on the right. See you there!
