Supernova 2006aj (GRB 060218) in Anonymous

sn06aj_i.jpg Origially a gamma ray burst discovered by the Swift burst alert telescope.   This supernova is the afterglow of gamma ray burst GRB 060218.   The spectrum shows it to be a type Ib/c.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the SDSS image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Aries.
