Supernova 2004fd in NGC 1060

sn04fd_i.jpg Discovered independantly by Tom Boles.   This one is very close to the nucleus of it's host galaxy.   Use short exposure times to bring it out.   Here we have another type Ia, this one found about a month old.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the discovery image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Pisces.
