Supernova 2004br in NGC 4493

sn04br_i.gif Discovered by Lick Observatory Supernova Search.   This one is a peculiar type Ia found on the rise.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the discovery image.  This supernova is in the Constellation Virgo.
